Make Your Pledge to St. John’s Church

The Stewardship Committee invites you to consider
How has your heart been opened to God’s call?
  • How has your heart been opened to yourself … to know the gifts God has given you?
  • How has your heart been broken open and, in its brokenness, been filled with God’s grace?
  • How has your heart been opened to others … and how have others opened their hearts to you?
  • How can the heart of St. John’s Church open itself to those outside our walls?
This Sunday during worship Matt Conrad will share the ways in which St. John’s has opened his heart.
Stewardship materials for this year’s initiative were mailed this past week.  We ask that you prayerfully consider your pledge for 2018 and return your pledge card by or on next Sunday, November 5.  Or, pledge in the top, right corner of this page.

First Fruits Sunday

First Fruits Sunday
Be sure to bring your First Fruits contributions to church the first Sunday of each month.  so that we can feed God’s sheep through our donations to the Christ Ascension Food Pantry.   Next first fruits Sunday: November 5.

  • canned vegetables
  • dry cereal
  • peanut butter
A note from Christ Ascension: We are blessed to have St. John’s congregation send their food in-gathering to our Food Pantry at the beginning of each month.  That donation allows us to give a little more food to the people who visit our pantry.
