Conversations in Black and White

Food for Thought

Conversations in Black and White, St. John’s initiative promoting racial understanding and reconciliation, will host a monthly dinner and discussion, “Food for Thought,”  at 6:00 p.m.  Each month participants will read a relevant article and discuss it over dinner in a manner that will promote racial understanding and reconciliation.

The goal of “Conversations in Black and White” is to continue honoring “the commitment we made through our Baptismal Covenant to God and each other” by

  • Seeking to serve Christ in all persons, loving our neighbors as ourselves.
  • Striving for justice and peace among all people, and respecting the dignity of every human being.
