Second Saturday Contemplative Services St. John’s offers Saturday evening services the second Saturday of each month. Each service includes Holy Eucharist, contemplative music, a quiet, candlelit atmosphere, and the rite of healing. We hope that you find this to be a relaxing supplement to your Sunday morning worship. Please consider inviting friends who prefer a more contemplative form of worship in the early evening. Prayers at the Colonial Altar Approach the Colonial altar after receiving communion at the 10:30 service for personal intentions with a prayer minister. Available at every church service. Personal prayers at the altar are suspended until further notice.
The St. John’s Prayer Group meets weekly on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. in the Keeper’s Cottage. To be a part of this group, simply drop by.
St. John’s Worship Ministry The Worship Ministry’s goal is to provide an enriched, spiritually nourishing worship experience, bringing people closer to God. Parishioners have many opportunities to support the Worship Ministry such as serving on the Altar Guild; participation in services as a Lay Reader or Lay Eucharistic Minister; Ushers; Greeters.
