Second Saturday Contemplative Services  St. John’s offers Saturday evening services the second Saturday of each month. Each service includes Holy Eucharist, contemplative music, a quiet, candlelit atmosphere, and the rite of healing.  We hope that you find this to be a relaxing supplement to your Sunday morning worship. Please consider inviting friends who prefer a more contemplative form of worship in the early evening.  Next Service–March 14, 5:30 p.m.

Ash Wednesday
Begin Lent by attending the Ash Wednesday Liturgy and Eucharist at either 12 noon or 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26.
“Ashes to Go” will also be offered in front of the church from 1:00-2:00 p.m.

Centering Prayer on Wednesdays In response to the positive feedback from those who attended our Advent series, we will continue to offer Centering Prayer in the choir room in the Parish House on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 p.m.  Please consider this gentle practice as a way to create space to receive the light of Christ during the season of Epiphany.

Prayers at the Colonial Altar Approach the Colonial altar after receiving communion at the 10:30 service for personal intentions with a prayer minister.  Available at every church service.

The St. John’s Prayer Group meets weekly on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. in the Keeper’s Cottage.  To be a part of this group, simply drop by.
